As I pursued a career, my love of food preparation led me to seek an apprenticeship as a chef. I ventured throughout Europe to enhance my skills. When my travels brought me here to the United States, I discovered that the tradition of giving fine chocolate was not as widespread in America. So, I returned to Europe to study the art of candy making, and I came back to the U.S. with a clear mission.
Kirchmayr Chocolatier opened its doors in 1985 to establish the tradition I knew as a child: the giving of fine chocolates for holidays and all occasions.
